Me and my cake studio
For me, cakes are unique, unrepeatable pieces, on which I always try to leave my own signature.
In the meantime, I must not forget that the cake must be identical to you, and not just based on my own ideas. In this way, I create my cakes by weaving together your ideas and mine, making the task really exciting and enjoyable.
Even after hundreds of wedding cakes, I am still excited about the next and subsequent challenges, which I do with all my heart and soul, with joy every day.
My story
My fascination with confectionery started when I was a child. My mother used to bake the most delicious cakes even during the weekdays, and I was always happy to join her to help. That's how my love for the craft began. Apart from baking, I was passionate about all the other creative things that took time and patience, but what I loved most was the chance to create something unique and lasting.
However, I had to wait to become a pastry chef, as I first graduated from university as a landscape architect and started studying the profession formally in my final year. I worked for 5 years as a pastry chef and decorator, and now everything around me has changed after I decided to embark on my own creative journey.
Looking back, the name LouLou was a very exciting idea for me. I had a hard time getting started in choosing a name, I did a lot of searching, researching, mostly browsing foreign girls’ names, but somehow I couldn't find the right one. Then the sweetest Christmas present was waiting under the tree: a sweet little Hungarian Vizsla. So the task was doubled, I had to think of two girls’ names. That's when I came across the name 'Lulu', which later inspired the name of the LouLou Cake Studio.
Besides the beauty and sophistication of cakes and desserts, their intrinsic value is equally important to me. All ingredients are carefully selected and of high quality. In creating them, I paid particular attention to the harmony of combining different flavours, and the interplay of different textures and creams. After much trial and error, experimentation and recipe development, I can heartily recommend LouLou's sweets to everyone, and of course its savoury delicacies.
